Privacy Policy
Money Plan Coach (a brand of Harvest Finance & Mortgage, Inc.). Effective September 28, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Money Plan Coach (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to moneyplancoach.com and the Money Decoder member portal.
Information we collect
- Account information you provide – your name, email, and login details when you create an account or purchase a plan.
- Financial-plan information you enter into your portal – income, expenses, goals, and similar planning data you choose to add.
- Bank transaction data – if you choose to connect a financial account, we receive read-only transaction information through our aggregation provider, Plaid (see “Bank connections” below).
- Documents – files you send us are stored in our secure document system (Citrix ShareFile), kept separate from the portal.
- Payment information – processed by our payment providers (ThriveCart / Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage & device data – standard log data and cookies (see “Cookies”).
How we use your information
To provide and improve the service, build and maintain your financial plan, deliver the features of your plan, communicate with you, process payments, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Bank connections (Plaid)
If you connect a financial account, we use Plaid to establish a secure, read-only connection. We request transaction information only – we cannot move money. We do not receive or store your online-banking username or password; those are handled by Plaid and your financial institution. In your portal we store only derived figures (for example, categorized transaction amounts) – never your full account numbers or credentials. Your use of Plaid is also governed by Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy at plaid.com/legal. You may disconnect a linked account at any time.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate – such as our website host (Kinsta), account aggregation (Plaid), document storage (Citrix ShareFile), payments (ThriveCart / Stripe), and email/CRM (FluentCRM) – under agreements that require them to protect it, and as otherwise required by law.
All of these third-party services are parts of the engine that runs our website and service bundle. None of them are consumer-facing, and none of them will ever contact you directly as our client.
Tax information
Tax-return information is used and disclosed only as permitted by law and, where required, with your written consent under IRC 7216. Tax preparation and personal advisory services are provided through The Harvest Plan by Mark Harvey, EA / Registered Investment Adviser. Data security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, consistent with our written information security program and the GLBA Safeguards Rule. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to those who need it.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then securely delete or destroy it, in line with our Data Retention & Disposal Policy.
Your choices & rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and disconnect any linked bank account, by contacting us (below). We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
Cookies
We use cookies for login sessions, your preferences, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Children’s privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
